Cristina Goenechea is a Profesora Titular at Universidad de Cádiz, Spain. Her research focuses on gender-race-class intersectionality within the training of health professionals and the perception of interculturality among students in segregated and non-segregated educational settings. She is also interested in the role of intercultural education and its impact on cultural diversity, particularly in multicultural societies and in the context of Spain's special education system.
