Daan Maijer

Daan Maijer is a Professor at the University of British Columbia in Canada. His research areas include additive manufacturing processes such as electron beam powder bed fusion and laser powder bed fusion, with a focus on heat transfer analysis and the thermal dynamics of component fabrication. He has contributed to the development of innovative reactor systems and has investigated the dissolution behaviors of metal inclusions during processing. His recent articles address both experimental findings and theoretical modelling in advanced manufacturing technologies.
