About
Professor Daniela Grassi is a faculty member at the European University of Madrid. Her research primarily focuses on the interactions of sex hormones with neuroactive steroids, the impact of androgen inhibition on body weight regulation, and the epigenetic mechanisms underlying sex differences in substance use disorders. Recent publications include studies on the effects of IGF1 gene therapy on reproductive senescence and the role of Kif21B in neuroplasticity within the hippocampus. She contributes significantly to the understanding of endocrine regulation and neurobiology in both animal models and broader contexts.
