About
David Bhella is a Professor of Structural Virology at the MRC - University of Glasgow Centre for Virus Research in the UK. His research focuses on viral interactions and structural biology, with recent publications exploring the hybridization of influenza A virus and respiratory syncytial virus, as well as the functional variations in entry pathways of Vesivirus clades. He is also investigating the higher-order structures of RNA-dependent RNA polymerase in foot-and-mouth disease virus and the in situ structures of virus capsids using advanced imaging techniques.
