Graduate research opportunity for an M.S. in Petroleum Engineering at Louisiana State University in the Craft & Hawkins Department of Petroleum Engineering . The project focuses on enhanced oil recovery (EOR) , especially surfactant-based methods for improving oil recovery. Research will combine laboratory experimentation with interpretation of results for practical reservoir engineering problems, including fluid-rock interactions and applied EOR concepts. Eligibility/preferences: B.S. in Petroleum Engineering or a closely related engineering/science field; strong academic record; interest in experimental research; interest in EOR, reservoir engineering, fluid-rock interactions, and surfactant applications; ability to work independently and in a team; strong analytical and communication skills.
