Despina Kalessopoulou is an Assistant Professor in Museum Education at the University of West Attica, Greece. Her research focuses on multiliteracies and museum education programs for preschool children, as well as exploring social justice awareness in young children's pretend play at early childhood education and care settings and museums. Her recent work contributes to the understanding of educational practices in museum contexts and their impact on young learners.
