IIIT Senapati, Manipur, an Institute of National Importance under the Government of India, invites applications for PhD (full-time and part-time) and Postdoctoral positions for the 2025–26 academic session under the Visvesvaraya PhD Scheme for Electronics & IT, sponsored by MeitY. Research areas include Computer Science & Engineering (Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, NLP, Human-Computer Interaction, Computer Vision, IoT, and related fields) and Electronics & Communication Engineering (VLSI & Embedded Systems, MEMS & Micro-fabrication, Signal Processing, 5G/6G, Quantum Communication, AI/ML for Communication, and related areas). The PhD fellowship offers ₹38,750/month for the first two years, ₹43,750/month for subsequent years (up to 5 years), a research contingency grant of ₹1,20,000/year, HRA as per norms, and international conference support up to ₹1.5 lakh.
