ShanghaiTech University’s School of Biomedical Engineering is recruiting postdoctoral researchers for a project combining neuroimaging, brain-computer interfaces, EEG analysis, and foundation models to advance Alzheimer’s disease assessment. The project is part of the school’s broader work in brain science and brain-inspired intelligence. The postdoctoral researcher will lead multimodal analysis of neuroimaging and EEG data, investigate brain function and disease-related biomarkers, and develop foundation-model-based methods for assessing cognitive impairment. These methods will be validated in community settings, connecting computational neurotechnology with practical approaches to the early screening, diagnosis, and treatment of Alzheimer’s disease. The researcher will work under Professor Dinggang Shen in an interdisciplinary biomedical engineering environment involving neuroimaging, brain-computer interfaces, signal processing, artificial intelligence, multimodal learning, and clinical research.
