Professor Dirk Morschett is a faculty member at the University of Fribourg in Switzerland. His research areas include the effects of institutional distance on acquisition performance in emerging markets, strategic management perspectives on retailers' foreign market exits, and the international resource configuration of product-related services in the digital age. He has also explored archetypes of driver combinations leading to foreign market exits and mergers and acquisitions by Chinese multinational enterprises in developed economies.
