Dr. Donghyun Kim is a Research Assistant Professor at Yonsei University College of Medicine in South Korea. His research primarily focuses on salivary gland organoid culture, including studies on the properties of murine and human salivary glands and their microbiome in relation to primary Sjögren's syndrome. He has contributed significantly to the field through his recent works on ex vivo modeling of salivary gland morphogenesis and the effects of epidermal growth factor on salivary progenitors post-irradiation.
