The Aubrey Lab specializes in forest ecophysiology, exploring water, carbon, and nitrogen cycling in forest ecosystems, with a particular interest in belowground processes and their interactions with aboveground mechanisms. The lab is located at SREL, a renowned research unit of the University of Georgia, situated near Aiken, South Carolina, and operates on the Savannah River Site, the first National Environmental Research Park in the USA. SREL is recognized for its pioneering work in environmental research, radioecology, remediation, and stewardship, with over 3,800 peer-reviewed publications. The MS position is ideal for candidates with a B.S. in ecology, forestry, hydrology, plant biology, biogeochemistry, or related fields.
