Elena Vazquez

Elena Vazquez is an Associate Professor at Umeå University in Sweden. Her research focuses on the development and application of kinetic design, particularly in the areas of bistable laminates and magnetic actuation for building envelopes. Recent publications include works on parametric design education, as well as the characterization and modeling of kinetic shading devices.
