Elina Tragou is an Associate Professor at the University of the Aegean, Greece. Her research focuses on dense water formation variability in the Aegean Sea, the impacts of Black Sea water outflow, and the simulation of trace elements in coastal environments under anthropogenic pressure. She has contributed to the understanding of marine systems, including recent studies on climate impacts in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Hellenic Marine Observing System.
