About

Dr. Elsa Pastor is an Associate Professor at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in Spain. Her research focuses on wildfire dynamics and risk management, particularly related to the wildland-urban interface (WUI). Recent publications include studies on the flammability of ornamental vegetation, structural vulnerability in WUI settlements, and advanced methodologies for evaluating wildfire vulnerability using computer vision and fuzzy logic.
