Emilio Varea

Emilio Varea is a Full Professor at the University of Valencia, Spain. His research primarily focuses on neurobiology, with recent articles examining topics such as the effects of ondansetron on neuronal responses, double hit models for schizophrenia, and the activation of neural stem cells following seizures. In addition, he investigates the cognitive implications of various mouse models for Down syndrome, along with the characterization of specific neuron types in the cerebral cortex.
