Uppsala University is recruiting Research Assistants in Health Economics for the Centre for Health Economic Research (HEFUU) in Uppsala, Sweden. The role is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position based at the Department of Medical Sciences . The position is well suited to candidates interested in health economics , causal inference , microeconometrics , and empirical research using large-scale microdata . Research assistants will support ongoing projects and centre administration, including data collection , data management , and more advanced econometric and statistical analysis using large register-based datasets. The centre works with rich Swedish administrative and geospatial data in an interdisciplinary environment. Eligibility highlights: applicants should hold a master’s degree with a quantitative focus (for example, economics), have very good English skills, and demonstrate experience with microeconometric methods and quantitative data. Experience with R and/or Stata is highly valued, and a documented interest in health economics is an asset.
