Research Assistant Position in Health Economics at Uppsala University

Uppsala University is recruiting Research Assistants in Health Economics for the Centre for Health Economic Research (HEFUU) in Uppsala, Sweden. The role is a 12-month fixed-term, full-time position based at the Department of Medical Sciences . The position is well suited to candidates interested in health economics , causal inference , microeconometrics , and empirical research using large-scale microdata . Research assistants will support ongoing projects and centre administration, including data collection , data management , and more advanced econometric and statistical analysis using large register-based datasets. The centre works with rich Swedish administrative and geospatial data in an interdisciplinary environment. Eligibility highlights: applicants should hold a master’s degree with a quantitative focus (for example, economics), have very good English skills, and demonstrate experience with microeconometric methods and quantitative data. Experience with R and/or Stata is highly valued, and a documented interest in health economics is an asset. Personal qualities such as collaboration, initiative, flexibility, and independent analytical ability are important. Funding/employment: this is a salaried employment position, not a scholarship.
