Estrella Barrio is a Professor of Communication at Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, Spain. Her research areas include corporate sustainability, social responsibility communication, and the impact of audio in advertising. Recent publications explore the use of corporate podcasts for sustainability goals, the evolution of radio advertising as a CSR channel post-Covid-19, and feminist representations in Spanish media.
