Fatemeh Derakhshan

Fatemeh Derakhshan is an Assistant Professor at Columbia University Medical Center in the United States. Her research focuses on genomics and epigenomics in cancer, particularly in breast and ovarian cancers, as well as the mechanisms of tumor evolution and immune evasion. She has contributed to the understanding of breast invasive lobular carcinoma and neuroendocrine tumors, alongside exploring potential therapeutic implications of germline mutations in various cancers.
