This call invites applications for
4 postdoctoral positions
across four research lines focused on transport, logistics, supply chains, urban mobility, and policy-relevant applied research. The centre emphasizes rigorous academic work with real-world impact, working with public and private stakeholders.
Research areas include:
logistics, infrastructure and decentralization; food supply chains; intelligent urban logistics; and transport systems for more livable and competitive cities. The topics span optimization, simulation, predictive modeling, data analysis, machine learning, route optimization, network design, life-cycle analysis, discrete choice models, causal analysis, and mobility policy.
Eligibility highlights:
applicants must hold a PhD obtained within the last three years (June 2023 to June 2026) in a related field such as transport, engineering, economics, geography, urban planning, public policy, or similar disciplines. The call values interdisciplinary profiles and experience in operations research, transport modeling, logistics, supply chain analysis, and large-scale data work. Candidates are expected to reside in Chile for at least six months per year during the appointment.
Funding:
full-time postdoctoral positions with remuneration equivalent to the ANID postdoctoral competition, plus support for relocation and international academic exchange participation.
