About
Dr. Fernando Fernandez is a Research Assistant Professor at Boston University in the United States. His research focuses on the kinetics and connectivity properties of parvalbumin- and somatostatin-positive inhibition in the medial entorhinal cortex, as well as the identification of CaMKIIα-positive interneurons through a microRNA-based viral gene targeting strategy. Dr. Fernandez's work contributes significantly to the understanding of neural circuitry and inhibition in the brain.
