A fully funded PhD position is available at the University of Lille, France , through the EU-funded Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network IDEAS (Improving Drug Efficacy with Next-Generation Amorphous Materials and Trained Experts). The doctoral project, “Development of a Predictive Toolbox for the Rational Design of Complex Amorphous Bioactive Molecules,” will combine computational physics, molecular modelling, molecular dynamics simulations, quantum chemistry, machine learning, and experimental characterization. The research will develop predictive approaches for optimizing amorphous pharmaceutical formulations, with a focus on proteins and PROTACs. Candidates should have an MSc in Physics, Materials Science, or a related field, experience with computational methods, and a strong interest in molecular materials and pharmaceutical applications. The role offers international collaboration, specialized training, and research secondments at the University of Pisa in Italy and MyBiotech in Germany, alongside cooperation with academic and industrial partners across Europe.
