Giovanni Besio

Giovanni Besio is an Associate Professor in Coastal Engineering at the University of Genoa, Italy. His research focuses on coastal dynamics, wave energy harvesting, and climate impacts on marine systems, as evidenced by his recent publications on wave spectra bias correction and real-time coastal circulation forecasts. He also investigates the feasibility of wave energy resources and seasonal variability of wave climates in the Mediterranean Sea.
