Girish Nair is a Professor of Medicine and the Director of Cardiac Electrophysiology and Arrhythmia Services at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute. He focuses his research on cardiac electrophysiology, particularly in areas such as catheter ablation techniques and the management of atrial fibrillation. His recent publications include studies on the safety and efficacy of various ablation strategies, as well as insights into post-operative pain management following cardiac device implantation.
