Guido Caldarelli

This research contract is hosted by the Istituto dei Sistemi Complessi of the Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche in Rome, within the project ExTPoG – Extreme Thermodynamics of Polymer Gels . The position is tied to the scientific theme of extreme thermodynamics of polymer networks and is placed in the broader area of physical sciences, with a strong focus on experimental soft-matter research. The successful candidate will work on a project centered on polymer gels, polymeric and colloidal systems, and their thermodynamic behavior under extreme conditions. The advertised research line explicitly links the activity to experimental physics of matter, with attention to the synthesis and rheological characterization of materials. The role is based at the CNR Rome-Sapienza site of the Institute of Complex Systems, offering a research environment anchored in a national public research institute and connected to an ongoing MUR-funded project. The position is supervised scientifically by Dr. Andrea Saverio Ninarello , under the responsibility of the Institute Director Prof. Guido Caldarelli .
