PhD and Master's Positions in Techno-Economic Analysis, Life Cycle Analysis, and Supply Chain Analysis at Washington State University

Washington State University-Tri-Cities is offering exciting opportunities for PhD and master's students to join the lab of Associate Professor Guiyan Zang. The research focuses on techno-economic analysis (TEA), life cycle analysis (LCA), and supply chain analysis, with applications in low-carbon fuel and material production, data center power supplementation, and artificial intelligence (AI)/machine learning (ML) based supply chain analysis. Students will engage in interdisciplinary research at the intersection of mechanical engineering, environmental science, and chemical engineering. Applicants should have a background in mechanical engineering, environmental science, chemical engineering, or a related field. The lab is seeking two PhD students and several master's students to start in August 2026.
