Gunnar Hartvigsen

Gunnar Hartvigsen is a Professor at UiT The Arctic University of Norway. His research focuses on physical activity participation among individuals with intellectual disabilities, mobile health applications, and innovative technology in educational settings. Recent articles include studies on the barriers to physical activity for adults with intellectual disabilities, as well as the validation of physical activity and sleep trackers. He is actively involved in developing methodologies for health monitoring and infection detection using machine learning algorithms.
