Harriet Thorn is the Deputy Head of the MSc. Midwifery Program at Berner Fachhochschule in Switzerland. Her research focuses on maternity services, with recent articles exploring the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on these services in Europe, as well as the efficacy of water immersion during labor.
