About

Helene Genet is an Associate Professor at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Her research focuses on the dynamics of arctic, boreal, and permafrost ecosystems, with recent articles addressing topics such as ecosystem modeling, vegetation dynamics, and carbon fluxes in response to climate change. She is actively involved in studies that analyze the impact of topography, fire history, and nutrient dynamics on high-latitude ecosystems.
