Hyun Woo Bang is an Assistant Professor at Mokwon University, South Korea. His research focuses on deep-sea ecosystems, particularly the impact of oil spills on marine life, as evidenced by his recent articles on harpacticoid copepods and their role as indicators of environmental change. He has also contributed to the discovery and classification of new species of copepods in Korean waters, enhancing our understanding of biodiversity and marine invertebrates.
