Ignacio Aedo is a Full Professor at Universidad Carlos III de Madrid, Spain. His research focuses on the intersection of technology and civic engagement, particularly through mobile technologies and augmented reality applications. Recent publications include exploring the role of situated motivational affordances in civic participation, as well as examining collaborative map interfaces in immersive environments. He also investigates the integration of software engineering and design thinking in creating enhanced educational experiences.
