About

Illya Hicks is a professor at Rice University in the United States. His research focuses primarily on combinatorial optimization, graph theory, and the theoretical foundations of social networks. Recent work includes studies on the max k-cut problem, piecewise linear relaxations of nonlinear functions, and complexities of the minimum rank of graphs. He continues to contribute significantly to advancing computational methods and models in his field.
