About

Jan Kober is the Head of the Laboratory of Non-Destructive Testing at the Institute of Thermomechanics in the Czech Republic. His research primarily focuses on the nonlinear elastic parameters of granular media, viscoelastic properties of sandstones, and time reversal methods in elastodynamics. He has contributed significantly to the understanding of material behavior through various experimental and computational approaches. His recent publications reflect a keen interest in the dynamics of materials under diverse conditions, including high strain rates and temperature variations.
