Jan Kovář is a Professor at the 3rd Faculty of Medicine, Charles University in the Czech Republic. His research primarily focuses on the molecular mechanisms of drug resistance in cancer, particularly regarding taxane therapies and the regulation of apoptosis in pancreatic β-cells.
