Jan Kubica is a Full Professor and Head of Department at Silesian University of Technology in Poland. His research areas encompass sustainable construction materials, specifically in energy-efficient wooden structures and bio-based composites. Recent publications include studies on the mechanical properties of lightweight geopolymer composites, as well as investigations into the influences of mixing water content on bond strength in masonry. He is also involved in the application of artificial neural networks for predicting mechanical properties in advanced concrete materials.
