About
Janusz Czerepko is an Associate Professor at the Forest Research Institute in Poland. His research focuses on biodiversity assessment, particularly through high-resolution remote sensing to study tree species diversity in old-growth forests, as well as the effects of climatic changes on soil properties and forest community structure. He also investigates the long-term changes in bryophyte diversity in managed forests and the sensitivity of cryptogams as indicators of forest naturalness.
