Dr. Ji Won Shin is an Assistant Professor at The Ohio State University in the United States. Her research focuses on family engagement and communication technologies in intensive care settings, including the efficacy of digital interventions for improving family psychological outcomes. Recent publications include studies on the Vidatalk™ communication application and its impact on nonvocal ICU patients and their families, as well as an integrative review of digital technology applications in adult intensive care units.
