Ján Kopačka

Ján Kopačka is the Head of Laboratory/Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Thermomechanics in the Czech Republic. His research focuses on advanced topics in optimization and dynamics, as evidenced by his recent articles on surface-based smoothing methods for topology optimization, energy-conserving interface dynamics, and numerical modeling of contact-impact problems. He is also involved in innovative simulation techniques for machining processes, particularly in the context of abrasive water jet machining.
