Professor Johannes W. Stratmann is a faculty member at the University of South Carolina, USA. His research primarily focuses on plant biology, particularly the structure-function analysis of volatile compounds in tomato and the role of green leaf volatiles in molecular signaling. He has also contributed to understanding the dephosphorylation of MAP kinases in response to environmental stress factors, as well as the sensitivity of Solanaceae to fatty acid-amino acid conjugates.
