About
José Garres Díaz is an Assistant Professor at Universidad de Córdoba in Spain. His research focuses on high-order well-balanced schemes for shallow models, numerical treatments in hyperbolicity loss, and layer-averaged approximations of the Navier–Stokes system. He has published several articles on multilayer models for hydrostatic and non-hydrostatic flows, as well as sediment transport models. His work contributes significantly to the understanding of shallow water systems and complex rheologies.
