About
Joseph Byrne is a Lecturer in Bioinorganic Chemistry at University College Dublin, Ireland. His research focuses on the development of glycoconjugate metal complexes targeting pathogens such as Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Candida albicans, as well as luminescent sensing systems for bacterial lectins. He has also explored lanthanide luminescent di-metallic helicates and carbohydrate-functionalized iridium complexes for catalytic applications.
