Joseph Cheatwood

Joseph Cheatwood is an Associate Professor at Southern Illinois University School of Medicine. His research primarily focuses on the effects of cannabidiol on anxiety and depression, as well as the impacts of dietary protein on poststroke recovery in animal models. Additionally, he investigates the physiological differences in muscle channels between cancer patients and healthy individuals.
