Schulich School of Business at York University is recruiting two postdoctoral fellows in Toronto, Canada, with anticipated start dates of July 1, 2027, although the start date is flexible. The Postdoctoral Fellowship in Sustainable and Climate-Resilient Operations will investigate the interplay between operations and climate change, together with related environmental and social challenges. Potential settings include supply chains, metals and mining, and the public sector. The fellow will work with Assistant Professor Vibhuti Dhingra on research connecting operational decisions with sustainability and climate resilience. The Postdoctoral Fellowship in Healthcare Operations Management is supported by the Krembil Centre for Health Management and Leadership at Schulich. The fellow will work with Vibhuti Dhingra, Professor Raha Imanirad, and Professor Joseph Mapa to study how operational decisions and policies can improve the performance and resilience of health systems. Specific research questions will be shaped by the successful candidate’s expertise and interests. These fellowships offer research opportunities spanning sustainable operations, climate resilience, supply chains, healthcare operations, health-system performance, and policy-oriented operations management within the Schulich School of Business.
