Julia Higgs

Julia Higgs is a Professor at Florida Atlantic University in the United States. Her research areas include auditing standards, audit quality, and the experiences of marginalized groups in the accounting profession. Recent works examine the impact of noncompliance with laws on audit practices, as well as the role of technology in auditing. She also addresses issues related to gender equity and racial microaggressions within the accounting academy.
