About

Julian Klaus is a Professor of Hydrology at the Rheinische Friedrich Wilhelms Universität Bonn Geographisches Institut, Germany. His research areas include tracer-aided mixing modeling of water, soil moisture dynamics in relation to root growth, and hydrological responses across different catchments. He has contributed significantly to the understanding of water use dynamics in relation to topography, as well as developing open-source tools for hydrological modeling.
