Jun Matsushima

Jun Matsushima is a Professor at The University of Tokyo, Japan. His research interests include velocity dispersion and seismic wave attenuation in geological materials, as well as the experimental study of seismic exploration techniques. Recent publications highlight his work on the behavior of gas hydrate-bearing sediments, carbonate rocks, and the interaction between ice properties and wave propagation in partially frozen soils. His contributions also extend to the characterization of coal structures and the joint measurement of cosmic-ray muons with seismic waves.
