About

Justin Gay is an Assistant Teaching Professor of Ecology at the University of Montana. His research focuses on ecological responses to environmental factors, including carbon and nitrogen fluxes, greenhouse gas emissions, and microbiological interactions in various ecosystems. He has published articles examining the impact of prescribed fire on conifer expansion in semi-arid grasslands, the effects of manure application on soil nitrogen dynamics, and the climate sensitivity of nitrogen cycles in tropical montane forests.
