Justyna Śmiałek-Bartyzel is an Adjunct Professor at the Institute of Nuclear Physics, Polish Academy of Sciences. Her research focuses on the interactions between lipopolysaccharides and peptide bacteriocins, as well as the structural and mechanical characterization of biological materials in cancer research. Recent articles include studies on the pro-inflammatory properties of various bacteriocins and their roles in immune responses. Professor Śmiałek-Bartyzel's work contributes significantly to the understanding of antimicrobial properties and the mechanisms of infection in model organisms.
