Kara Boynewicz is an Associate Professor at East Tennessee State University in the United States. Her research focuses on early identification of atypical motor performance in infants, particularly those with prenatal opioid exposure, and the broader impacts of in utero opioid exposure on newborn outcomes. She has also contributed commentary on the influence of maternal cognitions on motor development in preterm infants.
