Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University, Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, is recruiting a Specially Appointed Researcher (postdoc-equivalent, fixed-term) in the Hygienic Chemistry Laboratory for Academic Year 2027. The position is centered on research aimed at developing preventive and therapeutic methods for metabolic syndrome . Main topics include: functional analysis and applied research on receptors and related factors that are therapeutic targets for atherosclerotic diseases ; elucidation of the physiological functions and regulatory mechanisms of ABC transporters involved in lipid transport ; and development/application of drug delivery systems (DDS) using synthetic lipoproteins . This opportunity is based at Osaka Medical and Pharmaceutical University (Abuyama Campus), Osaka Prefecture, Japan. The appointment is a contract position from April 1, 2027 to March 31, 2029 , with the possibility of extension up to a total of 3 years depending on research achievements. Salary is listed as 3 million to 4 million yen annually .
