About

Professor Kenji Kasai is a faculty member at Aichi Medical University School of Medicine in Japan. His research focuses on the genetic and molecular mechanisms underlying cancer progression and cellular behavior, as reflected in his recent publications on the MCPH7 gene product STIL and its relevance in dendritic spine formation, as well as the role of CD70 in malignant pleural mesothelioma and its correlation with poor prognosis. His work also addresses the implications of mesothelin expression in colorectal cancer and the regulation of cancer cell motility through specific molecular complexes.
